Cakes:
Let’s face it, Cake is a Big Deal!!! And while it’s the most traditional choice, there are so many ways to get creative with it. A few ways to add some flare to your cake are by using customized toppers, cake lace, stencils, and other decorations! One of the great things about adding these elements to your cake is that almost all of them are edible, so you won’t have to worry about it being something that will affect serving your guests.
Cupcakes:
Mini, standard or large, cupcakes might be the dessert choice for you! Growing more and more popular, there are many advantages to having cupcakes at your reception instead of a wedding cake. For one, cupcakes are a great option for couples looking to stick to a certain budget with their desserts. It’s also very easy for cupcakes to be served at your reception since there’s no slicing involved and guests can get to them easily. If you’ve also been unable to settle on what flavor of cake you want, have no fear! With cupcakes, you can incorporate many flavors at one time!
Donuts and Everything Else!
Many of the couples who have had their weddings and receptions here at The Renaissance have gotten very creative with their dessert options. Some guests have taken part in the growing trend of donuts. Donuts are great on their own or as a complimentary item to a smaller wedding cake, capable of creating great displays that will add a beautiful element to your reception! Some have even found a way to incorporate delicious dessert items such as assortment of cheesecakes, candy bars, a macaroon bar, and mixed dessert stations.
One couple was even lucky enough to have their favorite ice cream shop, Cold Stone, bring their favorite flavors right to them!
