Over the past few months, working from home has become the new normal due to COVID-19. Never did we ever think that rolling out of bed 20 minutes before a zoom meeting, hair slightly disheveled, maybe you even threw on a different sweatshirt than the one you slept in to feel somewhat put together; would become our new daily routine for this long.
Entering Phase One, we’ve decided that it’s time to start getting back into the office to work! The world is changing though, and here at The Renaissance, we’ve discovered a new way to work.
During this time we’ve been successful with our virtual 3D tour that you can find on our website, we’ve completed virtual tours with clients and we’ve been able to productively work from home.
Our 3D tour was added to our website to convenience anyone who wanted to see our facility during this time, but we’ve gotten so much positive feedback about it that we’ve decided to keep it on our website for good! We’ve also been doing live tours with clients on Zoom which we will also continue to do until things calm down a bit more.
Working from home has definitely been quite an adjustment, as I’m sure it has been for everyone! For anyone who follows our YouTube channel, obviously we used to film our videos together in person, but we couldn’t anymore because of COVID-19. So, we’ve gotten creative with doing our videos together on Zoom and we’ve actually had a lot of fun with it! Not to mention, because working from home has been the only option right now, we realized that even when things do resume to a more normal state, we can still successfully work from home a few days of the week.
Working from home has benefits we didn’t even think about. It allows for more of a positive work-life balance, cancels out the stress of commuting into the city – and finding parking which can be impossible sometimes, and of course, who doesn’t love the luxury of being able to work in your pjs?
With that being said, of course we are so excited to be getting back into the office, however we’ll still be taking the necessary precautions to keep ourselves, our loved ones and our clients healthy and safe. We can’t wait to slowly but surely return to our normal routine, and to keep working with our amazing clients!
We'd love to hear what you think
