Setting up a room for a wedding is quite the process. But, it’s all worth it in the end of course. Completing each stage when setting up makes a room go from nothing, to absolutely everything. Each stage brings something new to the room; think of it as putting a puzzle together. You start with all of the pieces scattered around you, but once you start putting them together, something beautiful is created. Now that we know how much goes into setting up a room, let’s find out what the stages are.

Stage 1

At this stage, we have a blank canvas to work with. Absolutely nothing is in the room besides maybe some tables. Move the tables into their correct spots and you’re good to move onto the next step! P.S. Chairs may or may not already be in the room depending on if you already have them at your venue or if you’re ordering them from a rental company. 

Stage 2

It’s time for linens! Drape your tables with some beautiful table cloths and whatnot. This would be a good time to also add any chair covers or sashes too, if you already have your chairs.

Stage 3

Let there be light! Lighting makes a HUGE difference when it comes to setting up a room. There are so many different lighting packages to choose from whether you want bistro lighting, uplighting, or something else, you can NEVER go wrong with lighting. 

Stage 4

Florals and centerpieces are the cherry on top! Just like lighting, there are endless options to choose from. Once you have your florals and centerpieces in place, you only have one last step until the room is set up to look like your fairytale wedding. 

Stage 5

Last step! Napkins, chargers, and place settings are the final step. Nothing makes a room look more put together when the tables are set and ready for the guests to come in and indulge in both delicious food and great memories.
