• We have Key’Nita and Justin’s wedding for you today!

Key’Nita and Justin met while attending James Madison University working on their undergraduate degrees. They went on one date in the fall of 2007 and decided to remain just friends, but in 2011 they crossed paths again when they both returned to JMU for graduate school and started a more romantic relationship. Justin popped the question on a Spirit of Baltimore cruise for Key’Nita’s 27th birthday with their closest family and friends!

The couple chose an amethyst purple tone since purple was a favorite color for both Key’Nita and her mother. They used the color throughout the florals and decor. We just love how they used lighting to give the ballroom a purple glow!

Key’Nita and Justin had two very special moments from their big day. Key’Nita’s bridesmaid had her baby just four days before the wedding and she still made it! Her adorable daughter in tow. Key’Nita’s nephew, Johnathan, was able to walk down the aisle at the wedding after battling cancer and having multiple spine surgeries. “These stories aren’t fun but they are real and show that the people who we love so much sacrificed to be apart of our big day. Those moments make our wedding all the more special,” shares Key’Nita.
